Works by Alfredo Ramírez Raymond
in collaboration with Rafaela Armendaris, Karin Iturralde and Lucas Neira
curated by juniin

Saturday, May 6, 2023 (opening reception 6-9pm) – August 26, 2023
304 w Crest Ave, Tampa, FL 33603

This exhibition is Ecuadorian artist Alfredo Ramírez Raymond’s public debut of a project that positions his multi-generational family tradition in metalworking as an informal collaborative practice to co-create with three other artists– Rafaela Armendaris, Lucas Neira, and Karin Iturralde.

Whether its identity, ecology, economy, or art, Alfredo’s practice responds to ‘hard’ concepts and established infrastructures with questions usually asked in design practices, use of resources and its socio-material impact. Alfredo’s future-building oeuvre is filled with gratitude and care towards his collaborators, living and dead.
